HEY THERE, I'M
To know Sherrie Anderson is to know the power of a life lived at the foot of the Cross. Although she attended church as a child, she had not been exposed to the awesome grace that flows from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and so Sherrie looked for love and approval in many earthly places. When she encountered her Savior at age 22, passion to pursue the Word of God replaced the emptiness she had known.
During this season of her life, a longing grew to help other women delve into the riches of the Living Word so they could apply the Bible’s truths to their lives – to know without a doubt they were “daughters of the King.” Sherrie earnestly pursued Bible study and under the mentorship of her pastor, obtained her license as a minister while she facilitated Bible studies and women’s events at her church, writing and teaching weekly lessons. With the blessings of James, her husband of 32 years and father of their nine children, Sherrie founded byGrace Ministries to unlock Scripture for women in a way that overcomes all denominational, generational and racial barriers by focusing on the redemptive work of Jesus in the lives of all women. Besides speaking engagements, Sherrie is writing a Bible study for women which she hopes to publish soon.
Her byGrace Ministries events, including three annual byGrace Ministries conferences with nationally known speakers, continue to attract large audiences. She has been a speaker at women’s retreats, faith based conferences, and continually brings inspiration to Mothers of Preschooler (MOPS) groups. Sherrie is always eager to partner with churches organizations, large or small, to present the Word of God to women so they may live free and whole as daughters of the King.
Sherrie and James have been married 32 years and have 9 beautiful children and reside near Charlotte North Carolina.
